Slough Estates plc has pre-let 50,000 sq ft of offices to the Celltech Group at 208 Bath Road, Slough on a new twenty-year lease at a rental of £28.00 per sq ft.
The first in a series of three adjacent buildings being developed by Slough Estates, 208 Bath Road will be occupied by Celltech as their new headquarters and will complement their existing office and laboratory space already on the Bath Road. Completion of the building is scheduled January 2001.
The second building, which totals 32,000 sq ft is already under construction and the third which totals 58,000 sq ft will commence construction in March 2001.
The scheme which totals 140,000 sq ft has been designed by Nicholas Hare Architects and is being built by Slough Estates' in-house Construction and Project Management Division.
Insignia Richard Ellis and Jones Lang LaSalle represented Slough Estates and Lambert Smith Hampton represented the Celltech Group.
