Slough Estates is pleased to announce the appointment of Hugh Rogers, currently Development Manager of Ashtenne Holdings plc, as its new General Manager, Construction.
Prior to joining Ashtenne in 1998, Hugh had been Construction Director, South and West Region, with Arlington Securities PLC, with whom he had worked for twelve years. This appointment is occasioned by the pending retirement of Bernard Rimmer who has been responsible for construction at Slough Estates since 1982.
Reporting to John Heawood, Director of UK Property, Hugh will oversee the phased construction of over 5 million sq.ft. of business space which can be built on sites which are available for development in the UK.
