Farnborough Business Park Attracts Leading Helicopter Maker

Apr 16, 2003

EH Industries Limited, the manufacturer of the EH101 civilian and military helicopter, has taken a 10 year lease at the East Wing of the Third Floor of 25 Templer Avenue at Farnborough Business Park. The lease is for 10,125 sq ft. and EH Industries is paying rent of £27 per sq ft.

EH Industries is a joint venture between Agusta and Westland Helicopters Limited. The company is currently based in Farnborough Town Centre and the attraction of Farnborough Business Park’s location and amenities has secured the presence of one of Farnborough’s leading technology companies in the area for a further 10 years. The East Wing of 25 Templer Avenue has panoramic views of Farnborough Airport and affords a ring side seat at the biannual world famous Air Show.

Ian Coull, Chief Executive of Slough Estates commented: “This letting is the third transaction at Farnborough Business Park completed in the last 15 months, with EH Industries joining Autodesk and Fujitsu. The transaction also demonstrates the quality and underlying strength of Farnborough Business Park as a strategic long-term destination in the M3 corridor and particularly the Park’s ability to supply what corporate occupiers require.”

The remainder of 25 Templer Avenue is available in units of 10,000 sq ft upwards and is being marketed by Knight Frank and C B Hillier Parker.
