Slough Estates is appointing CB Richard Ellis and DTZ Debenham Tie Leung as valuers for its £2.7bn UK property portfolio. The role was previously held by Insignia Richard Ellis and CB Hillier Parker before the two firms merged.
Slough's Chief Executive, Ian Coull, commented: "The retendering exercise, which we began in April as part of a wider review of business practice, has been thorough and both appointments are entirely on merit. We are delighted to be giving CBRE their first valuation instruction since the merger and very much welcome the DTZ team on board."
Edward Luker of CBRE commented: "Our newly merged teams are delighted to have been retained by Slough to value a substantial element of their portfolio."
Peter Stoughton-Harris of DTZ commented: "We are very pleased to have secured this important valuation instruction, which reflects the confidence held by blue chip companies such as Slough Estates, in DTZ's strong valuation capability. We look forward to working closely with Slough Estates in the future."
