Solartron Mobrey’s new headquarters marked the consolidation of the company’s activities, previously carried out in three buildings on the Slough Trading Estate, under one roof.
The company, which is a longstanding occupier, needed early occupation of its new office and industrial facility and the programme was met by close co-operation between the project teams and by the employment of ground-breaking construction techniques.
One of the innovative features of this purpose-built property is a full height glass wall at the rear of the offices, overlooking the production and storage areas, which was designed to integrate and improve communications between the company’s two main business activities.
