Tularik is a progressive biotechnology company, specializing in the design and development of small-molecule drugs in a variety of disease areas, including cancer and obesity.
The 6,150 sq.m. (66,200 sq.ft.), two-storey biotech facility, completed in 1996, was the first phase of Tularik’s corporate campus on Gateway Business Park. The 7,710 sq.m. (83,000 sq.ft.) second phase was completed at the end of 1998.
The simple and efficient design incorporates a tilt-up concrete wall system on a steel frame together with a clean glass line, creating an attractive architectural presence.
